DESCRIPTION
Typing Type
In today’s digital landscape, typing has become a routine, efficiency-driven task, often leading to predictable and uninspired outcomes. By introducing intentional ‘productive disruptions’, this project primarily focuses on disrupting the typing process by experimenting with unconventional applications of fundamental typographic principles to rejuvenate the creative workflow, thereby stimulating innovative thinking and fostering the development of thought-provoking designs.

Visual Compendium Website
Visual Compendium is a digital archive coded in HTML and JavaScript, created as a supporting piece for my graduation project. It showcases a curated collection of visual references — from art and architecture to nature and anime — that inspired the structural and conceptual direction of Typing Type. This interactive layout not only reflects my research process, but also my enjoyment of coding and building custom design tools. Each image is paired with a short description to highlight how it connects to my exploration of typographic disruption, structure, and movement.

Shortcut Keys saves Designers Lives
This project was developed during my exchange at RMIT, where I was tasked with researching an object I felt was underappreciated. I chose the Command key — a small but powerful part of our daily workflow that often goes unnoticed. Through this exploration, I realised how deeply embedded shortcut keys are in our design routines, and how much they shape our efficiency without us even realising it. This early investigation sparked the conceptual foundation for my BA (Hons) graduation project, leading me to question the relationship between efficiency, habit, and creativity in digital design practice.

Google D&AD
This project reimagines Google Translate as a tool to fight censorship. Created as part of a final-year module at LASALLE, it was submitted to the D&AD New Blood Awards 2023 under the Google Fonts & HMCT brief. The brief challenged participants to develop a typographically-led campaign that acts as a call to action or raises awareness around a chosen social issue.

Emotional Entities
This project explores how we experience and express emotions by transforming self-tracked data into generative visuals. By visualising our daily thoughts and feelings, we aim to tell personal stories beyond the limits of language. Unlike traditional written diaries, Emotional Entities offers a new way to reflect on and communicate emotion.
